Ecomade recycles PET. PET raw materials are the widely used PET bottles. These recyclable materials come mainly from Nigeria, some also from neighboring countries. The raw material is automatically washed, sorted and extruded into specified granulates on the most modern systems.
Ecomade is a major supplier and partner to many respected plastics processors in Africa and across Europe. The main applications for the poly-PET regrind and regranulate are fibers, foils and packaging tapes. The quantities of PET for the production of multi-layer bottles and engineering plastics are increasing.
Ecomade has developed different products/solutions to remove these contaminants and stabilise the resulting plastic flake, for example for transport. By applying these solutions, the plastics can be enhanced to make it fit for purpose.
